Owen's eye surgery

Owen a few hours post-op.  Nose was a little bloody from drainage from the duct and they went up through the nose and down through the eye lid.  He was a little off when we got home, cranky but ok.

The doctor said his duct was clogged pretty bad and just the anatomy of the blockage will make his chances of success about an 85% rather than the 95% common for the surgery.

Let's hope for the best!

We are so happy and blessed that he made it through everything ok!

Olivia Ballerina

Olivia started ballet class Thursday night.  This is her practicing before we left.

Olivia and her friends Georgia and Mason are in class too!  Pure joy!

The class is half an hour, just long enough before a toddler loses focus.

Parents are not allowed in the class, unlike her gymnastics class where she does everything with Bill or I.

This was the first time Olivia has ever been without us or my parents so I was a little nervous to let her go...

I watched her through a small window in the door and she tried to walk back out and looked nervous but I told her it was ok and to stay with her friends and she would have fun.  She was so cute and had a good time.

She loves being a real ballerina!

Cake bliss!

We got Owen a car racing track-he loves it-so does Olivia of course!

We celebrated Owen's birthday Easter Sunday at my parents since Bill's mom and dad were able to be there.  We had a great time.

Owen had his 1 year doctor's appointment this week and he is 19 pounds 13 ounces (10th percentile) and 29 inches (25th percentile).

He is still our little nugget.  He of course has been walking for over 2 months and now he is trying to jump and run really fast-this has caused some mid-air collisions with Olivia-they scare mommy to death daily!

Owen's eye surgery is Friday morning at 6 am...please keep Owen in your thoughts and prayers!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday the Easter Bunny came to our house and then to Noni and Papa's house.  We had an egg hunt and a yummy dinner!

I dyed eggs earlier in the week and planned on decorating them with stickers and such on Saturday when my in-laws came.

It sounded like a great idea but the dye started coming off due to condensation and the kids then thought they were plastic eggs and were banging them together or throwing them.  Owen got a kick out of smashing two together and the result is the last picture...I made egg salad for lunch that day.

Good Friday Egghunt

Friday morning we went to an egg hunt and butterfly release with some friends.

Olivia collected a bunch and Owen was content with his one blue egg!

Fiesta in the Park

Last weekend we went to Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola.

It was a beautiful day to bring the kids out.  

She also went in a bounce house-her favorite part of the day I'm sure.
