Spring is here!

Olivia's 2 Year checkup

Olivia had her 2 year checkup this morning.

She weighs 25 1/2 pounds (35%) and is 34" (55%).

She did very well and talked to her doctor all about the Disney Princess stickers the nurse gave her.  The Doctor was very impressed with her vocabulary!  She is sure a talker.

We took her baby doll along for the visit-I think it helped her to have a relaxing visit.

No more bottle at night (she was only having one before bed) and next up is potty training!

We love cars!

We attended a local weekend festival and they had a Match Box car racing area set up.  Each child buys a car for 2 dollars and they get to race them down a big track.

Olivia saw the set up and starting squealing with glee!

Olivia chose a Dodge Van for herself and got a Land Rover for Owen.

Not necessarily the fastest cars but she was so happy to choose them.

Olivia loves her cars so much that they had to sleep in her room with her on a pink pillow near her crib!

She is such a great little kid....

Little Daredevil

Owen is a climber.  He climbs up up on the chair, I tell him to sit on his bum-he flashes a smile and then sits....

But now he's trying to climb up even further!!!

He is doing so much more every day-but I have to keep an eye on my little daredevil!

My baby girl is officially 2 years old...

Where is the pause button?????

She has grown up so much and changed so much...but she is still my little girl forever.

I love her more than I could have ever imagined...

Olivia's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Olivia's party at her favorite park with all her friends...she was talking about it for days!  She was so happy when we got there.

Her favorite thing to eat is doughnuts so of course that is what we served!

She got a little shy when everyone was singing Happy Birthday...

This is one of Olivia's friend Ryan.  Olivia had jusy fallen of the playground and hurt her eye-poor thing was all red!  

Olivia had a great birthday with all her friends-it was a blast!  She keeps talking about Party with doughnuts and wants to go to another one!

The after-party

Olivia opened all her gifts at home after a much needed 2 1/2 hour nap!

The best part is all the tissue paper!! Olivia and Owen played in itfor a while.  Olivia yelled "I'm swimming in paper!!"
